Behind the GENGVEJ project, which began in June 2024, is Markus Geng, born in 1973 near Hanover (Germany). 

In addition to pop and rock works, the previous releases also include various styles of electronic music (including lofi jazz, psytrance and lounge). Influenced by his musical parents, he became interested in various types of music at a very early age, which was also tested in the home recording studio with a changing cast during school time.

The diverse influences of rock, pop, punk, classical, metal, pop and jazz were the basis for an extraordinary understanding of music. In particular, the complexity of 1970s progressive rock and the endless experimentation of the jazz scene contributed to the decision that limitation in music does not exist.   
So the production of (then) new electronic music in the 1990s was the next logical step (stage name at the time: RA). The GENGVEJ project is the result of many years of activity in music. 

By using a wide variety of techniques, imagined boundaries can be overcome almost effortlessly. While the texts come exclusively from Markus Geng, new technology is used to create the musical parts. 
The use of AI, along with organic parts, is a crucial part of the project.  The creation of the prompts (specifications in the form of tempos, use of instruments, melodies, voice sounds and more) for the corresponding software, as well as the editing, sound and mastering work, is carried out by Markus Geng.

The misconception that AI music is created for every artist through ChatGTP and a few clicks is refuted by this project.  TUNEDLOUD.COM called this project a “pioneering work in the symbiosis of art and artificial intelligence” in its review of the album “Album” (12/2024; article link; English).  
SONICREALMS.DE wrote in the recession on “Kontrolle zurück” (11/2024; article link; German) that “modern technology does not replace music, but can enrich it!”

For the upcoming sub-projects, collaboration with well-known and (still) unknown artists from all continents is also planned. 
Of course, a wide variety of music styles are also used here.

The GENGVEJ project will continue to maintain excitement and continue to provide surprises.
